artist known as Schoony who returns to London to un veil his latest body of work at the Ivy Club.

The
exhibition will span across the top floor of the West End club from the
7th - 17th August and includes his latest work as well as the iconic
'Boy Soldier' and 'Skullduggery' that feature as staring rolls in the
hugely anticipated 'Kick Ass 2', launching just seconds walk away in
Leicester Square. Schoony will
join an impressive list of top artists whose work is also featured
throughout the Ivy Club including Damien Hirst, Marc Quinn and Mat
Collishaw.
A
public audience will be able to enjoy Schoony's work on billboard space
at Picadilly tube station supported by Art Below from 12th August for 2
weeks. Schoony's background is rooted in special effects and prosthetics for the film industry with his career spanning over twenty years. His
work has featured in movies including Rambo, Troy, Harry Potter, Saving
Private Ryan & Gladiator. His deep knowledge of casting and
moulding near perfect creations of humans, monsters & even aliens
gave him the perfect springboard to launch a new career as a Fine
Artist.
Since
2008 his art work has featured in several shows including 'Mutate
Britain', The Vauxhall Art Car Boot fair and the Opera Gallery in
Mayfair. Schoony attracted
national press in March 2011 when he un veiled 'Boy Soldier' on the
Peace Plinth outside the Houses of Parliament in protest to UK's
involvement to the war in Afghanistan.
